It was setup by Toby, a 200 level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and also the CEO of the NEWSWRITA.
Toby Newswrita as he's popularly called, was engaged in a chat interview when a BNmedia correspondent conversed with him;
BNmedia : Brief me about the brain behind newswrita
Toby Newswrita: NewsWrita started has a blog some years back which later transformed into a media house in conjunction with people of like minds with the aim of making it a success
BNmedia : Hmm... Nice
BNmedia : Okay... What inspired you to set up a blog?
Toby Newswrita: I just loved it. After my secondary school, I went to an IT school where I learnt web design and development, so from there, I developed interest in blogging.
BNmedia : Is this your first time of being nominated for an award?
Toby Newswrita: In Funaab, yes, but outside funaab, no
BNmedia : Tell me about it
Toby Newswrita: I have been nominated for several awards which include Nigeria Oscar and some others
BNmedia : Very good
